  1. SmartNet™ by Lightstorm Telecom Designed to be first of its kind in India is fibre-based network, connecting top seven cities in India.
  2. SmartNet™ will connect >80% of all current & future Multi Tenant Data Centre locations, all Cable Landing Stations, all Internet Exchanges and all current and future CDN locations.
  3. SmartNet™ Metro Network Topology – Linear Point-to-Point Mesh Architecture to ensure low latency and high network availability.
  4. SmartNet™ is being progressively launched in first half of 2021 across India and second half in other emerging Asia markets , mostly with large pre-booked capacities by global fortune 500 companies.
  5. Lightstorm Telecom is 100% owned SPV set up by a US based global infrastructure-focused PE fund.

Role Responsibilities and key Accountabilities

Overall, this role exists for Scrum master who will drive the deliverables of product as per product
manager’s requirements and planning.
Role/ responsibilities include:

  1. Guiding the team on self organizing to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum
  2. Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coaching the team to higher
    levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and
  3. Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right
    personnel to remove the impediment.
  4. Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of
    blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis of healing and problem solving.
  5. Facilitating getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work.
  6. Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution
  7. Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating
  8. Supporting and educating the Product Owner, especially with respect to grooming and
    maintaining the product backlog.
  9. Providing all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible, and
    leading by example

Key Accountabilities/ KPIs:

  1. Delivery of project/product on time
  2. Building strong devops process and culture
  3. Keeping resource engaged and motivated

Skills/ Experience

  1. A total of 8-10 years of experience with minimum 2 years of practicing agile project
  2. Second level Scrum Master certification (CSP, PSM I or PSM II)
  3. Experience playing the Scrum Master role for at least two years for a software development
    team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory.
  4. Knowledge of other Agile approaches: XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, etc
  5. Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD,
    TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games
  6. Applicable knowledge of the technologies used by the team
  7. Experience applying a wide variety of well documented patterns and techniques for filling in
    the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burndown techniques,
    numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs,etc)
  8. Industry preference, if any
  9. Team Management experience required: Yes
  10. Education qualification – BE/BTECH from any discipline
  11. Skills required
    • Technical skills – Preferebly to work on projects involving microservice based
      technology/architecture, devops
    • Functional skills – Have strong analytical skills. Experience in CRM/Billing domain is
      an added advantage
    • Business skills – Preferred, not mandatory
    • Soft-skills/ behavioral – Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Adaptable to
      the mission mode culture of Lightstorm.
  12. Requirement to work in night shifts: No
  13. Business travel may be required
